Here are a couple of dog toys that I made using the same method as I did for the dog pillow. Below are the templates that I used for both these toys (you can also come up with other shapes too). The cross-shaped template made the black and white dog print toy, and the triangle-shaped one made the light blue and white rubber ducky toy. You can adjust these templates for whatever size you prefer. The box-shaped template measures 5"x5", then added 2-1/2" fringe to each side. The triangle-shaped template measures 5-1/2" on each of the long sides, and 5" on the short side. Then added 2-1/2" fringe to each of those sides. I used fleece for the material (there are so many wonderful designs out there). For these projects I found a black and white dog print, a rubber ducky print, an a plain white fleece material. Cut your material out using the templates (you'll need 6 pieces for the box-shape, and 4 pieces for the pyramid-shape plus a 5"x5" square bottom), then clip an equal amount of fringe strands for all sides (I came up with 11 strands of fringe per side). Start tying the sides together (be patient because of the small size it's easy to screw this process up - I know, I screwed up TWICE). Keep tying until you have one side left open, then fill it with fiberfill till it's quite full (or as full as you desire), then tie off the remaining side. TA DA, you have a cute dog toy!!!
